flamomo Posted September 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2006 We'll be on Grenada on a Sunday. How will that affect tours, shopping? Is this one of those islands that closes everything on Sundays?
K8sMom Posted September 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2006 We will be in Granada on Sunday, also. I know it won't affect the ship's tours but we have been to a couple of islands on a Sunday or a holiday when everything was either closed or closed early. Those who have been to Granada on a Sunday, let us know.
denboy Posted September 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2006 Most shops in Grenada are closed on a Sunday although I would expect those in the Esplanade to be open.
Sandcrab Posted September 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Most shops on the Carenage that sell to tourists will open on a Sunday when cruise ships are in port. All the hotels are open of course, and have nice beach bars, etc. Many restaurants are regularly open on Sundays and special luncheons are put on with live entertainment such as Aquariums Sunday BBQ. PUbs and bars are usually open. Tour operators, dive and snorkeling shops will also be available on Sundays. I hope this helps. :) BJ
