Question about Cabins Cat 8A on the Triumph

Just wondering if anybody has sailed in the aft cabins with balconies. I am trying to make a decision on which cabin to choose for our big 25th anniversary group group. I need to book for myself something for hubby and I and also 4 kids. I was thinking about cabin #6424 or 6439, 6451, or 6459 comparing to any of the cabins facing the aft and getting the kids across the hall with an inside. The balconies are smaller in the aft but I think it would be a great scenery. Anybody experience any of these cabins? Size, location, comfort? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a bunch.

The balcones are BIGGER on the aft compared to the ones on the side. reg balconies.

ANd there will be no inside cabins ACROSS the hall. (Its around the corner)

If you are grabbing an aft cabin see if you can get 6430 or 6457 for the kids. (hop on this fast as they will go very fast- for the same reason you want them. (they are also true quads and you wont need a roll away.

If I had the choice between the side or the aft....I would take the aft for the view itself. The balconies on the side that you mentioned are longer but you can only need so much space. But the aft is wider, longer and nicer. (IMHO)

The cabins you mentioned are not cabins facing the aft. Those cabins are 6436, 6438 6440 6467 6465 6463.

We had 6440 on the Victory and its right in the middle.

Thanks for the input there and I think I'll take your advise as long as you think I will have no problem fitting my 4 kids for visiting on the balcony. My cruise isn't until May 2005 so hopefully I have some time.

Thanks Again!

How big and wide are your kids?? (kidding) On our Victory we had 2 chairs tht reclined back,-not lounge chairs. and a small round table. I can see fitting another 2 chairs there.

Serene,

Thanks so much. You got me wanting that wrap around more now. That would be so perfect but not sure I can swing it. The cost is like $300 more. OUCH! My kids are little and range from 8-12 (at least will at that time). I will also have others that would probably love to come by..hmmmm..I'm thinkin on this real hard. :)

The 9 is awesome but a regular aft will serve your purpose.

Especially for 300 more which can probably pay for your excursions. Which way you thinking? Eastern or Western?

We are booked on a group cruise for May 14 going Western. It will be our 25th anniversary and I'm bringing my kids and and family along. They are all excited as it is a first for most of them.

Well, I am having my TA do my booking for those cabins now. She is checking on availability. I am having her book on of the wrap arounds. Thought it would give more room on balcony for visiters. Nice place for sail away. But then again, I like the action up on Lido at that time too. :)
