tigermaroon2 Posted September 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2006 Highly recommend Tabyana Beach. It's beautiful and has a very very large and mostly unspoiled reef with depths of 180 feet. All kinds of fish and sea life, including sea turtles hang out there. There's a bar (beer is fairly cheap but there are beachside vendors selling 3 beers for $5 too). The vendors on the beach don't annoy you. They ask once and then that's it. They mostly stay at their little tables on one end of the beach. There's a restaurant with buffet line. Plenty of shade under palm trees...just a beautiful place.

tigermaroon2 Posted September 14, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted September 14, 2006 Yes. We took the cruise ship excursion. You board a school bus right at the pier and have about a 20 minute ride....but it's a beautiful island with some incredible views before you get to the beach. The shuttles then run every 30 mins or so and you can stay til the last one if you want. Don't miss this beach!
