Big Kahuna Posted September 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2006 We are booked on the Mariner of the Seas April 2007, I would like some input on forward, category F – larger OV, room 6502 vs category E1 – balconys? Noise, motion and just overall best choice for 3 people, 2 adults and a 6 yr old.
negc Posted September 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2006 My general rule of thumb is that a room with a balcony trumps an oceanview room. The overall size might sway me with three in the room but I think that the balcony will make the room seem bigger regardless. If there is a big price difference I would have to factor that in as well, but I think I am still biased in favor of the room with a balcony.:) Also if any of you are susceptible to motion sickness, the location of 6502 could present a problem. Merion_Mom Posted September 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Thanks, anyone else have input? Please. I agree 110% with negc. I particularly agree since it's your honeymoon. You can put little Six Year Old to bed, then go out on the balcony with your new wife and enjoy some honeymoon privacy!
