woody14h Posted September 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2006 What is the difference, besides price, between the city trolley tour booked on shore at Curacao and the city trolley tour booked through ship services. Price differential is a lot.
gizmo Posted September 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2006 The Trolley Tour is usually not available when ships are in port. Unless something has changed you must book it through the ship. Transportation is provided to the trolley train when booked through the ship.
RubberCityRebel Posted September 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2006 We will be in Curacao on Oct 18th on the Sun Princess. The trolley tour through the ship is about $34 per person. I wrote the Trolly people directly and this is what they had to say: "Unfortunately I have to refer you to your shore excursions on board of the Sun Princess. We provide transfer to and from Fort Amsterdam where the tour meets, it's included in the price you pay and it come to about the same. This way your seats are confirmed. If you do not want to do this, you would have to make your own way to Fort Amsterdam and try to get on the trolley but we are unable to guarantee any seating because it's blocked by the ship. IF you get a spot there, it will cost you $20 US dollars per person. Check on board of the ship for the tour timings." So there it is....
