cusyl Posted November 18, 2006 #51 Share Posted November 18, 2006 Perhaps it is how your travel agent booked it? My B2B next July has 2 booking numbers.
FranKes2000 Posted December 19, 2006 #52 Share Posted December 19, 2006 I phoned WC about the pins, I am now awaiting a gold one. I have sailed with them 4 times TransAtlantic but they did not count the one in 1984. They changed the numbers in 1990. The magazines back then were more interesting. But Cunard is now one of the Disney line.

tandemtourer Posted December 19, 2006 #55 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Tandemtourer - the TAs you mention with a week or two in between being counted as 2 voyages - were these booked as 2 seperate voyages? Matt, I don't know how your question escaped my attention, sorry it has taken this long to reply. The TAs were booked at the same time and I believe that they were under the same reference number. Each time we disembarked for at least 2 1/2 weeks so it wasn't exactly a B2B. I think that Princess may count them differently from the Cunard of old. (I just received the World Club letter inviting me to review our voyage history on line only to discover that two TAs from 2003 were omitted.) spinnaker Posted December 19, 2006 Author #56 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Thanks tandemtourer - perhaps Cunard view things differently if the pause between crossings is longer than a week?! Anyway, the US site has it different to the UK site and have my brother and I down as different WC levels despite having done the same trips! They really are a law unto themselves... See you in the Chart Room!:D

I've been credited with two trips for a B2B - arriving and leaving New York on the same day in 2004. As you say, a law unto themselves!
