judimouse Posted July 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Our group is having a door decoration contest during our October cruise on the Monarch. So now I have been asked, "What are the dimensions of the cabin door?" I am clueless. Does someone know or have a rough idea as to size. hstrybuf Posted July 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2004 This is just a guess 2 1/2 by 6 1/2 feet. Enjoy the door decorating contest. We had a lot of fun with it on a group cruise. The winners did a full door color drawing of the ocean above and below sea level.:) You could put a cruiseship on it with a Red Hat Lady at the bow! :D

LindaO Posted July 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 14, 2004 Door sizes vary depending on the class of the cabin...
RiverRev Posted July 14, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 14, 2004 The cabin door on my category N was not 30" wide. I would figur more along the line of 24-26". I realize that 26" is not standard, but the dimensions of the ship are all European. and DEFINATELY smaller than U.S. standard doors. The doors are also metal, so magnetic fasteners might be useful. judimouse Posted July 14, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted July 14, 2004 Do you think if I tell everyone 26 x 72 I will be in a safe range. We are booked all over the ship.
