Is it too soon to hope for warm weather? Lynn Bermuda is semi-tropical..gets chilly, but never cold especially for someone coming from Canada..:) We were there this year in early March for a quick getaway, and although on the cool side it was still delightful as we are usually there in Aug. when it can be damn hot.The end of April should be just fine. Some will say the water temp may be on the cool side, but then again it may be just fine for you.Enjoy.:o
Putz Posted July 15, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 15, 2004 Thanks Karen. I'd prefer to have warmer water so perhaps we'll save Bermuda until summer. Lynn
Ocean Boy Posted July 16, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 16, 2004 We were there for the end of April. I thought it was the perfect time to go. It was warm enough so you could enjoy the beach but not too warm to make sightseeing uncomfortable. As far as the water temperature goes. It was about as warm as it ever gets here in souther New England so I thought it was fine. Obviously it gets much warmer as the season goes on. But then, so does the air temperature making sightseeing not so pleasant.
Putz Posted July 17, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted July 17, 2004 Thanks Ocean Boy. Suppose there's always a trade-off. I would imagine any water would be warmer to swim in than Lake Ontario. It would be nice to have a bit more moderate air temperature for sightseeing...it gets so hot in the Caribbean. Perhaps I'll put Bermuda back on the list of possibilities.
