romanroxy Posted May 17, 2010 #201 Share Posted May 17, 2010 Saw Paula Deen in the casino, y'all. :) Kept seeing signs for the "Paula Cookin' at Sea Cruise"...didn't occur to me that it was Paula Deen. There were about 1,200 who signed up to be on the specific Paula Deen Cruise. It was a coincidence that we booked on the same cruise (circa 2007). Rare Pirateskigirl Posted June 18, 2010 #204 Share Posted June 18, 2010 I met Bowzer from Sha-Na-Na on the Rapsody of the Seas 10 years ago. Adrian Zhmed was the entertainment on the Coral Princess last November.
Big Nugget Posted July 2, 2010 #205 Share Posted July 2, 2010 On the Disney Magic in 2002, we saw Joe Namath on vacation with his 2 daughters. The guy checking in the luggage at the dock said that Namath often has taken his familly on the Disney Cruiseline. On the same cruise we saw Tommy Smothers (Mom always liked you best!). One night at the dueling pianos, he was heckling the piano players from the back of the room. They never knew who it was but kept right on playing. fortheloveofcruise Posted August 8, 2010 #212 Share Posted August 8, 2010 We were on an eastern caribbean cruise in 2009 on the Eurodam, and I guess it was a Fan's Cruise with the Philedelphia Eagles Football team. We ate dinner one night in the Pinnacle Grill beside a group of the players and their wives. I had no clue who they were though lol...:o

travelgenie Posted August 23, 2010 #215 Share Posted August 23, 2010 We were on a Baltic cruise, several years ago, Joy Behar from The View was on the ship, my husband saw her several times in the casino, I saw her coming off the ship one day, she was traveling with a lot of other people. Apparently HAL asked her to do an afternoon "Talk" in the theater on one of our sea days. It was casual talk about vacationing, she was funny, but a lot of people did not have a clue who she was, including my husband.

There would be alot of celebrities that I would think it "was pretty cool" to see on a cruise. Joy Behar would NOT be on any list like that. Did she ride a broomstick around the ship? Wecruise8 Posted January 13, 2011 #220 Share Posted January 13, 2011 On a cruise with my kids almost 10 years ago our tablemates had the waiters convinced I was Susan Sarandon. The kids thought it was hysterical and tried to get us special favors. Now and again they'll refer to me as Susan (not my name).

Gavin McLeod on an inaugural.. On my first cruise (Norway), Jack Jones was the entertainer for the week either before or after ours (can't remember which, but saw his picture on a poster). We had Jerry Van Dyke. I was a big fan of Jack Jones and brokenhearted that we just missed him.
