QM2 Spontaneous Dining for Dinner

When we were on the QM2 in 2004 during the evenings the King's Court was turned into four different dining venues with reservations required-- It looks like it is still this way- Other than room service in your cabin are there any other dinner alternatives where you can just show up and eat at any time?

I was on the QM2 last month and I noticed passengers coming and going at the King's Court way until past midnight without requiring reservations. It was almost free for all. The only dining area that reservations were required was the Lotus Grill.

It varies. One is open as a buffet and the others are table service (reservations recommended).

I dined in La Piazza one evening with friends and the food and service were wonderful. We all regretted only trying it once.
