Do you know where Puerto Santo is?

It is actually a bit inland at the end of a bay ... I've never spent any time at an ocean side beach there. I recall the bay being very shallow - more like a river delta, and the transit was tightly constrained by the depth of water outside the channel.

 

however this can be a good place to see banana plantations, Mayan Ruins (Quirigua), Spanish Forts, or take a trip on the Dulce River. the only water sports activities were in the river area....

 

No diving that I'm aware of.....
