Panama in September?

We are trying to find a cruise which will have us at sea on September 16 (signifigant birthday!). We've optioned Pacific Princess from Van to Hono and the islands but that can be rough.

 

We are concerned about Panama Canal due to the east coast and weather conditions in September.

 

We are open to all suggestions, so please suggest away!

We have cruised several times in Sept. in The Caribbean and been lucky -- no storms. Did the Panama Canal on one of them. It was just very hot and humid -- and an incredible experience. Sue

There can be a number of Pacific tropical storms and hurricanes at that time of year, so be aware of that. It's also the prime hurricane season in the

Atlantic/Caribbean.
