MusicMan Posted November 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2006 I ALWAYS book my own air fare. Nobody knows my preferences like I do, and nobody is as concerned as I am about getting me the best price. Thank heaven for the internet!
GottaLuvCruising Posted November 8, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2006 If it isn't an error of some sort, it likely means that Disney no longer has flights available from your gateway. Look at independent air. What is your home gateway? Just notice your profile has Tampa and Disney doesn't offer air from Tampa, so that could be the problem. Hojo's redbeard Posted November 9, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted November 9, 2006 $1,000,015.00 per person for flight. $3,000,045.00 for party of three. Tampa to Port Canaveral is less than two hours by car. It would take longer to fly, flying is not an option, just was new functionality on travel site that pops up regardless. Really, $3 MILLION to fly three people 110 miles. It was pretty funny.
Host Mick Posted November 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2006 I think that they quoted you the Space Shuttle rates to Port Canaveral.
Majesty Fan Posted November 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 13, 2006 I have never wanted to do the cruise lines air mainly it is too pricy. Even flying out of our hometown and it is worth it to drive a little to save a lot. Example to fly to Seattle last JUne for our Alaska cruise was going to be $654 for 1. I drove 3 hours and paid $303 and spent the night at the Hampton Inn and did not have to pay to park. If you have SW near you you can save a bunch. Hubby is flying on SW on Feb and round trip is less than $125 to Chicago. Lexi
