When do we learn our dinner time?

We are leaving on our first cruise this Sunday and still don't know what time we will be having dinner. We were waitlisted for the late main dinner when we reserved a couple of weeks ago. Do we have to wait until we get on the ship to learn when we will be eating or is there another way?

Thanks!

Afraid you'll have to wait until you open the envelope that you'll find in your cabin! :)

Kattom, or is it TomKat?

I remember getting our dining time & table assignment on the pier at check-in. There should be a little card in a folder along with your room key/sign card & a deck plan of your ship. If you board really early, before the cabins are available, you'll know right then & there.

Relax. It's only until Sunday - how exciting! Once you get that assignment you can go to the dining room to see where the table is. Or, if the time is not to your liking, you can ask the maitre'd (sp?) for a change.

Have a great cruise. wave4.gif

KATTOM == Your documents should indicate "early" or "late" sitting in the upper right-hand corner of the ticket. It sounds like you requested rather late so it may be missing from the docs. but in that case it will be as Sunshine states -- in the folder you receive when you check-in at the pier.

We were "wait-listed" for early-late seating (the 8:00 instead of 8:30 we were assigned) and didn't get it. We waited 3 days then asked again, and we were moved. Guess it helped waiting for other people to get their plans in place--then the staff had a better idea where there would be empty seats....

Thanks everyone!

And you're right...it is only a couple more days! VERY exciting!:D

I looked on my cruise documents (more closely than before) and they said "waitlisted late main dining" so we will keep our fingers crossed. Didn't know we could even go and check out the table location after we board--so we'll do that too.

Thanks again!
