gtmarcus1 Posted December 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2006 Does the ship keep to Eastern Standard time or do they change their clocks to match many of the ports which are one hour ahead? This would make a difference as far as arranging for independent excursions. Sheffie Posted December 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2006 I have never sailed on Costa, but on the lines I have sailed, sometimes the ship changes time, and sometimes it doesn't - it is all up to the captain. I suggest that you contact the tour operators and ask them since they see the ship every week, and should know its schedule. Have a great cruise! marc334 Posted December 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2006 on the 2 other cruises I sailed, the time changes were noted in the daily papers, so everyone could make the adjustments
snipboy Posted December 6, 2006 #4 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Yes, the ship does change time twice while it cruises. Was on last week.
gtmarcus1 Posted December 7, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted December 7, 2006 thanks for clarifying. How did you like the cruise? We are leaving Dec. 23rd. Do you have any idea how early we can board the ship? If is going to be a crazy day at the cruiseport!
