zerelda Posted December 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Hey people, I'm going to be going on this RCCL cruise to the Canary Islands (http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk/php/med.php) early in the New Year, and I was wondering what to pack for the weather! I've heard it's good all year round, but would appreciate any of you folks who've been to this region during the winter letting me know from your experience...! :)
ab0si Posted December 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 12, 2006 In the ports you can expect highs in the low 70s (20C) and lows seldom fal below 55F. Up in the mountains it will be cooler, but never really cold. Paul
Normandie-BCN Posted December 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2006 In Canary Island mountains, like Las Cañadas del Teide in Tenerife or el Pico de los Muchachos (Iternation Observatory Site) en La Palma may have snow in winter and be really cold while in the coast you may stay on the beach enjoying a unforgetable beach day. If you stay at the coast you will find always spring time more o less windy. If you go up to the mountains in Gran Canaria, Tenerife or La Palma, you may be prepared for a possible cold weather. That possibility is usually anonunced for that kind of excursion.
