Sunday in Nassau?

I saw on another board something about markets being closed on Sunday. As I am starting to educate myself about our cruise, (we booked last night) I started to get excited about shopping in Nassau. Does anybody know if buying purses at the straw market will be an option on a Sunday during April? I have 2 daughters and a dear sister-in-law that would worship me if I were to bring them back such a great souvineer! Thanks!

Hadn't thought of that, we'll be in Nassau on a Sunday also, shopping was my major plan!

Did a quick google search & found it is open 7 days a week.

We did Glory eastern last month and were in Nassau on Sunday. Pretty much everything was open, just not til at least 10 am and we arrived early so we did a walking tour before we shopped. Quite a few people bought purses at the straw market. You should be fine.
