knarf Posted December 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Hi , Is there a casino close (walking distance) to Maho Beach ? I thought I read once where there was one ? Thanks for the info. Have read several times that about 3:00PM is a good time to see the BIG planes land, but would that give us time to get back to the ship in Philipsburg for 4:30 departure ?. Sounds from this post that it will be close !! Thanks so much for the help. Sincerely, Knarf (Frank backwards)
The Big Booper Posted December 31, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2006 You have to allow 1 hour to get back to the ship in the afternoon (minimum) what with heavy traffic, road construction and drawbridges. Do they pull the gangplank at 4:30 or does the ship sail at 4:30? The big planes land from 1 thru 3:15 or so. KAL has a link to the schedules. The Big Booper Posted December 31, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Frank, the Casino in Maho is Casino Royale ( or was couple years ago). Here is a link to Kal's airplane schedule.

gtaylor Posted December 31, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2006 The Casino Royale is right across the street from Maho Beach at the end of the runway. If you're at SunSet Beach Bar, you've got to walk the width of the runway as well. Here's a link to kal's Big Jet Schedule. Good Luck, gary
