Is there gay life in Bermuda

Anyone know of any gay-friendly spots in Bermuda? My partner and I will be crusing there with 6 friends on Zenith, 9/25/04, out of NYC.

Been there twice....answer: not that I've seen! Although, and a big although, since you'll be there at night, you might, might, run into crew who are gay at the regular pubs/bars.

sorry to say bermuda is not a gay friendly island. No gay life at all. Have been there many times and have stayed in small properties on the island with my partner in one bed. No one said any thing but you knew what they were feeling. Uptight British atomsphere. However the Hog Penny Pub is a fun place to drink and dine but no gay life at all.

Edward; There used to be disco in town that was gay friendly. Check with anyone working in the spa, they will know where to go. Michael Z

Have a look at http://www.gaybermuda.com. Bermudian society is pretty reserved. I've never felt uncomfortable there (and I've been many times) but I realize it's not Chelsea. I've introduced my partner as my partner to Bermudians I know without any discomfort.

I talk with a guy from Bermuda and they are just like anywhere else. Some of them are in fact gay. I am told that while the area does not have a "Gay" beach a lot of the locals use the beach on the south shore called Chaplain Bay

and for night spots you can find some at the Blue juice disco bar.

 

I am going to bermuda solo and will get there i believe 9/13/2004 would love to meet others for a drink, dinner, or just conversation
