Just wondering how cool is cool. I've heard that it is pretty cool all over the ship and that I should pack a sweater. Ok. fine, but does this mean that I will always feel a chill ?(low blood pressure) I cant wear the same style sweater with everything ( it will just look silly) and would it be ok to wear jog set during the day around the ship? Thanks for your help

I don't think there's any problem with anything you're suggesting. My wife tends to be cold in air conditioned places, and always packs a few long sleeved items. Casual stuff for during the day, and usually a dressy cardigan for the evening.

Have a great cruise

I was on the Dawn in July of 2006 and I was cold most of the time. I am a person who tolerates colder climets. I would pack a sweater and don't worry about what you look like....people don't care what you wear. Have fun and be comfortable. Anyway the middle aged fat ladies (like me) with bikini's on or rotund gentlemen with speedos will keep everyone entertained.

I had similar concerns. We were blessed with unseasonably warm weather.

Lots of people had on jogging suits during the day. It was almost like the uniform of the day.

I am usually cold in public places, especially when there's AC. The ship sells beautiful fake pashminas for about $10 which look lovely any time of day.

One of my only complaints when it comes to cruising is the evening temperatures aboard...FREEZING! I know, however that I am probably in the minority and if the temps. were warmer there would be many more people unhappy. I used to go back to my cabin after dinner to slip under the covers "just 'til I got warm" but i missed way too much because I would end up being rocked by the waves and not wake up until the next morning!!! Since then, I have started packing nice looking pants (even jeans) and sweaters to change into after dinner. I also bring pashminas in 4 neutral colors so I always have one. That way I can attend shows or go to the clubs or casino until I'm actually ready to go to bed!;)
