Several Questions About NCL Star

We will be sailing on the Star on Feb 2, 2007. I have a couple questions. First, how are the beds on this ship? In the past we have found NCL beds to be rather hard and uncomfortable, but we had read that there were new mattresses on most ships. Next, when we sailed on the Spirit to Alaska, there was an excersise program wherein if you participated and completed a set amount of classes, miles walked, etc. you could earn a t-shirt. We loved the extra insentative to work out, and wondered if this is done on the Star as well. Thanks in advance for your help!

If the beds are too hard, ask your room steward for a egg foam to lay atop your mattress. Yes, they still have an exercise program.

we found the beds on the star to be the most comfortable on any ship weve been on , and the down comforters were a plus, we have never slept better on any cruise,

but it all depends on what you like for comfort,,
