May 2, 2007 3-Day Pacific Northwest Cruise

Just checking to see if anyone else digs the shorter Pacific Northwest cruises and if anyone on here is going on this one?

I did that exact cruise two years ago and loved it...first time on HAL, first time on the Oosterdam. It was fantastic.

 

I personally love the short coastals/repos, though we did a 2 day on the Veendam last year and it was too short - I found I was happier with the 3 and 4 day coastals. I'd do the Oosterdam one every year if it wasn't for the fact that it leaves on a Wednesday (hard to get off work for half a week).

We did a 4-day coastal last September on the Veendam and really enjoyed it. We have a 5-day coastal booked on the Zaandam for this September. The coastal gives a great opportunity to try out a different ship.

We did a 4 day Pacific Northwest on the Mercury last year and had a fantastic time (but it just whetted our appetite for more.) We sail to Alaska on the Oosterdam May 5th (Azipod Gods willing.)

The azipod will have been fixed by this time... if they have any complications though, it could effect my sailing... :eek:

 

They've already made appropriate scheduling modifications though so I'm expecting to be in Canada May 2 :)
