Diamond Princess - Cabin C753

G8R On Board

Recommended Posts

There have been many threads regarding rooms in the aft of the ship. We just returned from the Diamond Princess to the Mexican Reviera and had cabin C753. As far as a garbage smell, I might have detected a slight "sweet" smell on the balcony, but it wasn't pervasive, and I only smelled it a couple times. The cigar smoke from the balcony next door was much stronger. The cabin was in a great location because there is no one on one side of it, nor are there cabins in front of it. The stairs that are shown on the ship deck plan are used for crew only, and I never heard or saw anyone on them. I would definitley suggest to anyone to take this cabin. The only drawback is the walking distance to the front of the ship. But with all the food I ate, the walk was a welcome one.
