Caribbean band on cruises

Anyone know about Caribbean band on Carnival Valor? The ONLY disappointment with a cruise on Conquest 2 yrs ago was their 2 man group. Boring and un-energized. In the past I sailed on Celebrity Mercury, which had a terrible comedian but a GREAAAT band from St Lucia. It really, really adds to the cruise when you have a great live band on Lido dec!
