Been to Johnny Canoe Restaurant in Nassau?

Has anyone been to Johnny Canoe Restaurant in Nassau? It's by the Nassau Beach Hotel on Cable Beach. Is this within walking distance of the cruise ship pier? Do we need a taxi?

Johnny Canoes is located facing the street at Nassau Beach Hotel at Cable Beach. It's a fun atmosphere. Very cheerful. Junkanoo Rush on Friday nites at 8pm and a local band plays nitely.

 

It's not near the port, but has easy jitney access in the daytime ($1 pp for the #10 jitney from downtown to the hotels).. or $12 in the evening for a cab (price for 2 ppl).

 

Food it good.. and moderately priced.
