Hi all. I know we have to pack our cases and have them ready the last night. We have a carry on bag we will take on the plane with things in. Can we keep this bag with us and take it when we leave the ship to go to the airport for retun flight. Thanks Suexxx

Sue,

Yes, keep the carry on bag with you as you will need to pack your toiletries, nightwear etc. in it.

We have just returned from the 4th January sailing on the Pacific Princess. We had a fairly rough trip up to Vanuatu for 3 days so if you haven't cruised before, make sure you take something for sea sickness just in case and start taking it before it gets really rough. Quite a lot of the passengers were "under the weather" for a few days.

As we had been to both Vanuatu and New Caledonia before we just took it easy and went to the beach for a swim. The weather was sunny and warm.

Shipboard life is what you make it. If you want to be on the go all the time, then you can join in with everything that is happening during the day. If you want to relax and take it easy, then you can do that quite easily. It is a great way to travel, meet new friends and see the world.

Sue, you will have to collect all your luggage at the wharf after you've dismebarked, before you go through customs and quarantine, so you can put anything you carry off the ship on the last morning into your luggage before you check it in at the airport.
