carnival valor?

Hello

Was on the Valor W. Caribbean in November. Had a great time, no issues with the ship other then it is a little tough to navigate (get from front to back) on some floors. The food is good, dining rooms are better then Rosie's. Tendering in Belize can be a chore, get there early if you are not booking Carnival's excursion if you want to maximize your time on shore. In the Lincoln Dining room, we were upstairs in the back corner. I would try to get downstairs near the center of the room if I could do it again. Have fun!

wow, so far only one of my concerns is that my room is right next to the elovator and one deck up from all the night clubs.

You wont hear a thing, the cabins are not next to the Elevators, there is a room and then a hallway first. The doors shut tight. You have to open up the door to hear the announcements.

im going on the valore in may and just wondering from past cruisers on the valor hows the ship?

We were on the Valor last March and it was one of the best cruises we have been on. It was our first with carnival and we had a fantastic time. WE are booked on the Legend for March. The ship is very nice and new. Food was better than any other cruise line and carnival has such a fun atmosphere. I would go on this ship again anytime.

Sarah -

We just got off the Valor this morning. The ship itself is in great shape! The service was probably the best we've had on any cruise we've taken. The slide was fun and not really busy.

We were in cabin 6411 and our friends were in 6270. Neither of us had any complaints about noise from the deck below. Our friends were right near the elevators and they said there was never any noise from the elevators, either.

I just posted a review under a different thread. Check it out. It was a great cruise!

Sarah,

My DW and I sailed on Valor for our last cruise in Dec '05, and we thought the ship was great! As was already stated, the first day or so can be strange finding one's way around, but once you get the layout of the ship figured out, it's no problem.

BTW, if you like cheesecake, be sure to check out the shop next to the casino...... I'm pretty sure it was responsible for about 5 lbs of the weight I gained on board!

Have a great cruise!
