Sunday in B.A.?

:confused: Can anyone tell me what we can expect to be open in B.A. on a Sunday? Are all or most stores open (not just the touristy type) and what about good restaurants? Are any of the finer restaurants open for lunch or a midday dinner?

Apparently the big event on Sunday in BA is the antique market in San Telmo. It is an open air market with street performers.

If B.A. is anything like its European counterparts, most of the shops will be closed as Sunday in Europe is a day of rest. We haven't been in B.A. on a Sunday but I would expect most of the bigger shops to be closed and just the markets to be open.

Many, but not all, shops on Florida Street are open.

There is also an open air antiques market in San Telmo all afternoon, including street performers.
