Embarkation time of 3 day empress of the Seas cruise out of San Juan

Can anyone tell me what's the earliest we can board the ship. The ship sails at 8:00. We usually board at noon, but thos ships sail at 5:00

Regardless of the time the ship is due to sail, boarding usually begins aroung 11:30am-noon. We have boarded that early even when the ship did not sail until 10pm or midnight. Once they have cleared the ship of the previous week's passengers and have pretty much prepared the ship for new arrivals, the boarding process begins. One advantage of boarding that early is that you have much more time to explore the ship before the crowds arrive. If you wish, you can also get back off the ship and explore the port for a few hours.

Docs will indicate that boarding time is after 2pm. Boarding usually begins after 12pm.

 

Very important is that you be onboard before 6pm because at this time they usually perform the muster drill.

We took the three day on Empress on Dec. 1 and we were onboard the ship at 11:15. As stated previously it all depends on how quickly the previous passengers leave the ship.
