Near AFT cabins on Pride

There seems to be alot of discussion about how great the aft cabins and the aft wrap cabins are; but how do the near aft suites compare to mid ship suites. Such as the suites right next to the aft wrap suites? Is the view better on these than mid ship? Are the balconies as large as rest, even tho they advertise they are 85 sq ft? Are all the balconies on the Pride covered, or are some just partially covered on some decks.

It depends what deck your near aft suite is on, deck 5 has a longer blacony than deck 7. People talk about the aft wrap because of the veiw off the back of the ship and down the side, my opinion is if you can't get the aft wrap than just go for the midship suit, the view in your near aft, will not be the same as the aft wrap.

We had 6258 on the Pride. The cabin was the same as the cat. 11 suites that are midship but the balcony was smaller because it was not extended like the ones that are midship. The almost aft suites on deck 4 have even smaller balconies because an exterior crew staircase takes away from some of the balcony. If you can't book a corner aft suite with the wrap around balcony then I would go for a mid ship one. Ours was a free upgrade from an 8G balcony so we were thrilled even tho the balcony was a bit smaller.
