Cabin On Golden

I booked cabin E404 on the GOlden can anyone tell me if this is a good room with just a little obstruction? Also if this is the cabin that shows up on my itnerary, would I be eligible for the upgrady fairy to come visit m?

Here is a review from the Caribbean Princess, someone in Cabin E404 - they said it was great.

 

The question is though, whether the Golden and the Caribbean have the same layout?

On that deck and this section of rooms, the two ships have nearly the same layout. For this room, that review would apply.

 

And the view is only called 'partially obstructed' because you can see the lifeboat off to the side if you get right up at the window. Mostly, its a straight out clear view.

 

Yes, you could be upgraded. Its less likely if this is already an upgrade from a GTY booking, but if this is the room you originally booked, you could still be upgraded.
