Flying to Tampa

We're considering flying to Tampa in late July for our cruise instead of driving, if we can get a decent fare. Any suggestions on smaller/cheaper airlines that fly into the Tampa area?

Not knowing where you are flying from, it makes it a little difficult to suggest airlines. But, look at the usual: Air Tran; Southwest; Jet Blue;..........

Allegiant Air flys into St. Pete/Clearwater Airport. They just started service in Knoxville and their o/w rate is $79 + taxes and up. Delta r/t yesterday for first week of September was $370.60 incl taxes. They do not show up on Orbitz or other travel search sites and you have to book through them at http://www.allegiantair.com/
