Opera Wine prices

We will be sailing on 2/27 on the Opera and would appreciate it if anyone can give me any info on wine prices. Also can you bring your own and pay corkages fees? Thanks

Just returned from the 2/5/07 Opera cruise. Wine prices tended to be a bit on the high side, IMO. Some wines on their menu were not available on our cruise. Wine packages were offered but didn't appear to be bargains. e.g. $5 retail wines for approx $30. We had no problems bringing wine on board at embarkation or in any of the ports. They do not allow you to bring your own wines into the dining room, so there is no corkage fee. Their beverage prices are "net"...they do not add gratuities or service charges for wines or bar beverages. The $12 per day per person gratuity that they add to your final billing covers ALL tipping.

Ref.drinks the tips(service charges) are in the prices. Check out the house wine at dinner,the reds weren't bad.
