Any Beaches, Bars within Walking Distance

We have been to this port before and spent the day at one of the cruise ship beaches. This time we are doing the dolphins, for the kids, and wind up back to the boat by noon. Can anyone suggest a beach or bar area close by, as I recall there really was not much at the port itself.

There's not really anything in the way of beach area near the cruise docks, and not really much in the way of good bars in Coxen Hole, either. As the other poste suggested, you might take a cab to West End - quaint little community with a number of bars, restaurants, & shops, with a decent little beach area.

When you were at a beach with the cruiseship excursion on your prior visit, you were most likely at West Bay Beach area.

One alternative - the dolphin excursion is at Anthonys Key Resort. They have a nice bar area there (built up on the hill with a beautiful view of the ocean.
