Getting cash on Jewel

I plan on using a credit card for on-board charges but I have a question about how much cash to bring. Say I bring $500 in cash for tips, gambling, shopping at the ports etc. If I run low on cash, is there any way for me to get more on the ship?

Like I've heard...

Bring 1/2 as many clothes and twice as much money as you had planned on!

JK

But in this case I don't think you will even need $500 as the cruise is a cashless society. You can use your credit card for just about everything...both on and off the ship.

By getting cash at the casino, it is counted as a charge on your credit card. It is not a cash advance. You can get up to $2000.00 per day per cabin. that way we bring just a smalll amount of cash with us and plan to get it from the casino when needed. If they ask just say you are using it for slots and they will give you the cash. If you say it is for the tables, they may give you a slip to take to the tables and then they will give you chips. then just make a bet and cash the rest in at the cashiers booth.:)
