raina*faith Posted March 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Any and all information on Cruising to Nowhere will help! This will be our first time on NCL. I am suprising my husband for his birthday with this cruise! Do you have a daily compass or something that shows what's going on? How much are the resturants? What should I pack? When's the best time to get to the pier? I've heard some great things about the Dawn (except that she's having engine problems right now). Please fill this newbie in!! :D
Don Haynes Posted March 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Read the Freestyle dally. All activities, when and where, are listed. I would pack resort casual, but there is nothing keeping you from dressing up to the nines if you wish. Nothing wrong with noon to 1 PM.

Cruise_More_Often Posted March 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2007 It will be exactly like a regular sea day on a cruise. We love them!
SAYHEYRENEE Posted March 4, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2007 I went in May. We went to the buffet upon arrival. Many were in hot tubs and swim suits at sailaway. They have a really nice BBQ on deck around the pool after you go under the bridge in NY. We dressed casual from dinner and went to the main dining room aft. Walked up, asked for a table watching the wake and seen sunset. They pull these nice blinds down that still enables you to see the sunset. The menu was the same at most of the dining rooms since we walked around to check. We seen their show that night-very good. Baliwood. Kind of cirque like. At night in the casino they put a spread of food out. Very good chicklen on a stick, egg rolls etc. As you can see we tried as much food as we could in a small amount of time. The casino and stores were open an hour after sailaway. I wore jeans and a shirt on, brought a swim suit, nice pants set for dinner and comfortable clothes the day we left since I was driving home.
