moonlightdancer Posted March 2, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 2, 2007 We're planning an Alaska cruise later this year, and I'm wondering where the cruise ships depart from and open to suggestions of good places to stay in Seattle pre-cruise that would be convenient to departure location. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! The past few years NCL has been cruising out of Pier 66 which is across the street from the Seattle Waterfront Marriott or a block from The Edgewater Inn, The Alexis is a 5-10 minute walk along the waterfront. All 3 of these hotels can be on the spendy side, but you never know you could luck out and get a good rate.

Thanks in advance! How much time do you have prior to the cruise and what do you like to do? If you want to do the Seattle Center then search for a hotel near there, lots of less expensive types. A taxi can get you and luggage to the pier in 15 minutes unless there's a Mariner Game. If you want to do the market and Pioneer Square then look at the Inn at the Market $$$. If you just want a place to crash then look at the Warwick, still need a taxi or 6th Ave. Inn. They aren't anything special, but food is readily available and you aren't far from the port. Julia’s Journey’s Posted March 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2007 We are staying 2 nights pre-cruise, bid on Priceline and got 3* renaissance for $65, supposed to be close and in the free bus zone.
