Westerdam - Lost and Found - Safes

Make sure you check your safe carefully when checking out. Last month on the Westerdam I found an earing in our safe from a previous cruiser. The safes are dark, have a felt liner, and a metal lip in the front so things can disappear easily. So if you were on the Westerdam (or know of someone) and lost an earing - give them a call - we turned it in to the front desk.

Good advice! I would add to also double check all the closests, drawers, and cabinets. A few years ago I found in a cabinet by the sofa a nice pair of dress shoes for a woman. I gave them to my cabin steward; didn't think they would go with my tux.

At least an earring is tame compared to the guy on Carnival recently who claims he "found" 2 rounds of .22 caliber ammo. :eek:
