wvdleek Posted March 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2007 On 4 March, AIDA Cruises' new 68.500 grt AIDAdiva left the covered buildingdock 1 and was berthed along the fitting out quay at Meyer Werft in Papenburg. On 6 March we went with a group of friends to Papenburg to photograph the ship. This new album can be accessed (as usual) via my website http://www.vdleek.nl. Druke I Posted March 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2007 Great set of photos - thanks for sharing with us. I for one don't care for the hull art and lips. I don't think it is the prettiest ship afloat, but I do like the size. Would love to see more midsized ships for the North Americn market, rather than the megaships so popular with some. Druke I Posted April 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2007 That photo was printed in today's San Francisco Chronicle, also. I thought that somewhat unusual for the Chron.
