From Cruise to Anaheim

 We will be disembarking from the Norwegian Star on the 07/10/2007 and will be plannning to stay at Anaheim for five days only to do Disneyland which will be a two day event for us four adults.

We would also like to do Universal Studios, Malibu, and Hollywood star walk. Is the travelling from Anaheim to these venues to far, or should we look at just spending the 2 days at Anaheim and maybe looking for accommodation closer to our other interests for the rest of the vacation. We will be flying out of LA on 12/10/2007.

Universal is closer to Hollywood than Anaheim. Might I suggest the Universal Sheraton for the other two days? Anaheim is over an hour from Universal City. Hollywood would be short drive from Universal City (about 20-25 min). I was born and raised in California and recently got away from all the traffic, but I miss Disneyland! Malibu is on the coast and about 35 minutes from Universal.

There are tons of things to do in Anaheim if you don't want to travel too far. There is Knots Berry Farm, lots of dinner shows (westerns, jousting, etc). You may want to consider just going to the beach for a day or too. Santa Monica is really nice and relaxing.

Hollywood and Universal are more spread out. Seeing the stores, walk of fame etc. is fun if you haven't done LA.
