Beach for me in Belize???

Hello

My DH is wanting to go on a ruins tour in Belize, is there a beach tour that I could go to that is safe? He really wants to see some ruins, I don't and he feels bad about leaving me on the boat all day. I would enjoy just laying around the beach if possible. From the threads, Belize doesn't seem safe to be alone. Any suggestions?

Find an excursion such as a ship sponsered excursion to Bannister Island. There really are not any nice beaches available on the mainland. All of the nice beaches are on the cayes or islands.

 

You may want to reconsider and join your DH and see the ruins. I wanted to go to the ruins, my husband didn't but I dragged him along anyway. He really enjoyed them and was very glad he went. There are tons of nice beaches at most of the other ports, but not all of them have Mayan ruins available to explore.
