JetBlue cancels 215 flights out of East Coast...

Wondering how many Carnival travelers will be affected by this.

 

JetBlue canceled 215 flights Friday because of a winter storm on the East Coast... affecting about one-third of all JetBlue flights... More than 200 of them involved flights to or from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

 

American Airlines had canceled about 120 flights to or from New York and other Northeastern airports... Northwest Airlines canceled about 35 flights to or from the East Coast.

 

I can't remember who posted on this forum that this storm was eminent and to get out as soon as you could if you have a cruise this weekend, but they were right on the money.

Yes, it's going to be quite bad. Right now it's sleeting heavily and the roads are starting to get covered. Supposed to get much worse as the day wears on.

A co-worker flying from Florida to New York was supposed to leave tonight but she got word that flights were going to be cancelled and was able to fly last night, Jet Blue re-scheduled at no cost with no problems due to it being a weather issue. I sure hope some other travelers were able to do the same.
