Hello from the Glory!!

We are having a great time. We are in Costa Maya right now. The weather has been great. This ship is very nice. We are impressed. The staff are also exceptionaly nice. The Food is great as well. We are off to dinner, see everyone when we get back.

 

PS: We signed the CC Book in the Library, it has quite a few sigs in it.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Glad to hear your cruise is going well. We love Costa Maya but the Glory won't be going there on our 11/20 cruise. Enjoy the rest of your cruise and hopefully you will post a review when you return.

we are having a great time, will post review when we get back. one of our group members had a heart attack and was taken off in belize, hopefully will be fine and return to states soon. i will post more when we hear it. just thankful we were at a port, carnival has been wonderful and very helpful and concerned. this ship is something else.

the group member who had the heart attack is on his way back to atlanta from belize, there seemed to be more help from the embassy than expected, we are just glad that all is well. see you soon, cozumel was a blast!

Chriz, so glad you are having a wonderful time. A group of 16 of us just got off the Glory as you were getting on. I've been on 7 previous Carnival cruises, and the staff and crew members are the "ultimate" on this ship!! Everyone from the Captain down to the window cleaners on the ship were the most congenial, efficient and fun-loving people I have ever encountered on a cruise. I made sure that I complimented all of them and to many of their superiors. Hope you do the same because this is very important to them.

Special compliments go out to Luba and Todor in the Golden Dining room, Ljubi the bartender/waiter in the dining room and also the lido deck, and Ken the bartender near the casino. Food, entertainment and everything was wonderful!! Keep having fun because the time goes too fast!!

Glad to hear that all is well with your group member that had the heart attack. Hopefully they had insurance so that this is taken care of without causing them money out-of-pocket. How is the weather? Enjoy your cruise.

I, too, would like to read an extensive and in-depth review of the ship. My Eastern Caribbean cruise is just around the corner and I need all the information on the ship and staff that I can get.

We are back, despite the setback we had a wonderful time, I know how much people love reviews myself included, so I will work hard on getting one posted very soon. I give this ship a 9.5 out of 10. The staff were the best we have yet to encounter. My only concern is that some areas were in need of repair but in no way affected my vacation nor should it have. They seemed to have a problem with many of the elevators, on one of them the doors wouldn't close half of the time and several were shut down for lenghty periods of time, I guess they were working on them. The FunVision system was down on the back of the ship for some reason, it never worked, you don't realize how much you use that thing until it is gone, but the pursers had a statement delivered to our room several times and were very helpful. Man I wished I was back on board already. This post cruise depression really sucks, time to start on another one!
