Bermuda in October

Recommended Posts

Our family is thinking of going to Bermuda in October for our mother's 75th birthday. Has anyone been to Bermuda in October and if you have how was the weather? Are you able to still swim? Are the seas rough in October? Any input would help.

Thank you,

Jane:rolleyes:

went on the Horizon last october and the weather was beautiful, the first night and 1/2 the first full day was rough, but after that and on the return it was very nice.

The water is beautiful as you are in the gulfstream.

Since it is the atlantic and not the caribbean, rougher seas are the norm. but you never know with mother nature

Went to Bermuda in Oct. back in 1999. We went thru the edges of a hurricane and lost a day in Bermuda, but other than that, the weather was great. In Bermuda, the temp was in the 80's every day and partly cloudy. It's certainly warm enough for any water activities and touring the island. I would go back in Oct. any time my wife said yes.
