Float planes

We are thinking of a float plane trip in either Juneau or Ketchikan this June. Does anyone have experience of the short 30 minute flights? Do you recommend any particular company? We could not afford a longer trip and I wonder if the short ones are worthwhile.

Several years ago, I did a couple mail runs out of Ketchikan. Yes I think the short flights would be worthwhile, if an interest and wanting to make the most of funds for varied touring.

My DH and I did a 30 min out of Ketchican I think it was one the most Romantic things that we did on our Cruise, Ketchican is just one of those places that captures you, there was a low fog and lite mist with a Rain Forest smell when we boarded the float plane.
