Has anyone ever sent a steamer trunk?

Has anyone sent luggage down UPS or any other way ahead of time (Miami)? If so how does it work and does it get to your room.

I dont think anyone uses steamer trunks anymore but I could be wrong. There are several companies you can use to ship your luggage ahead of time, I bet someone pops up with one of them soon.

I think if you're sending a steamer trunk, you also need to send your personal maid ahead of time to unpack it for you.:D

Too bad we dont still use them. Sure would make packing easier. I could fit so much more into one of them!
