Cutting it too close?

I would like to know from the experienced cruisers if this is too close that we might miss the ship?

 

I would like to take the Skagway to Carcross Bus & Train excursion with Chilkoot Tours but it is over at 4:30 pm. According to the itnerary for Princess Cruises our ship leaves Skagway at 5:00 pm.

Sounds to me like you are cutting it too close...hope someone else adds thier 2 cents...but if the tour hits any delays...& it is not a ship's tour...they will not wait for you:(

The all aboard is 30 minutes before departure time, so you need to be on the ship at 4:30 for a 5:00 departure. The Yukon rail/bus excursion with Chilkoot Charters returns at 2:30 p.m., so you might consider that instead of the one that goes to Carcross by train.
