jim in cleveland Posted April 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2007 I read somewhere that the Voyager now has wifi in the suites. Can someone confirm that? Thanks, Jim
dfb Posted April 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2007 As of April 2006, we could access the wireless Internet aboard Voyager in suite 748. It was our understanding at the time that wifi access should be available in all cabins, but we heard from some people that it was stronger signal in the center of the ship than in the more outer reaches. Sometimes you did have to have your cabin door open to get a strong enough signal, or sit in the hallways. But, basically the answer to your question is yes. Admiral Horatio Nelson Posted April 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2007 I read somewhere that the Voyager now has wifi in the suites. Can someone confirm that? Thanks, Jim As of dry dock in December, the Voyager is all wireless. You can use your laptop anywhere now. Paul Gauguin is the same and the other ships are to follow. In fact the Mariner might already be done.
ITravelNow Posted April 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2007 The Mariner is still a work in process. There is wifi in the Coffee Bar near club.com but the suites are not yet wifi. They hope to be done in the next few weeks. The wiring is complete but they are still working on the routers. BTW - the "new" Coffee Bar is lovely as are the new color schemes in the suites and around the ship. The refurbishment was well done. They are still replacing carpet in a few suites during this cruise, but I guess they never have enought time in dry dock!
