Just wondering if anyone can explain how it works. Is it $15k for the suite and a certain $ amount per person? Max number of people? I know there are 4 rooms usually which would hold atleast 8 people...

PER PERSON :eek: so 4 rooms with 8 people cost over $112,000?

For example:

Norwegian Jewel, sailing on November 4th,2007, 14 day cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Cat A1, Garden Villa. This cabin only holds 6 people, total price including cruise fare, port charges, taxes, and insurance is $49,993.12.

Is that personal experience? The "per person" price is for the first two people (in the examples I've seen posted). The price then drops quite a bit.

Here's a price for a seven-day Alaska cruise last summer from brunolvr:

Guest 1 $10,604.29

Guest 2 $10,604.29

Guest 3 $ 470.29

Guest 4 $ 470.29

Guest 5 $ 470.29

Total for all guests: $22,619.45

Leaving Sat 12-13 on the Gem in the GV. We will be a party of 4

First 2 people $10,999.00 each

Next 2 people $499.00 each

Total with Taxes, Fuel Surcharge, and Travel Protection $24,797.00 The Gem has 3 suites with roll out beds to hold 8.

The Dawn, also 3 suites, to have 6 people.

Also on the Dawn June 09 in GV. Party of 5

First 2 people $9349 each

Next 3 people $199 each

Total for 5 with everything $21,153

Don't know how NCL comes up with these numbers, but this is what it is.

Hope this helps
