NCL Pearl or Golden Princess

Which ship is preferable to Alaska, the brand new NCL Pearl or the more traveled and experienced Golden Princess?

 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Are you going this summer or in 2008? If this summer - the Pearl has the better itinerary, going to Glacier Bay vs. the Golden Princess's Tracy Arm. If 2008 - Princess hasn't released the Alaska schedule yet - so who knows what the Golden Princess will do next year.

When are you looking at going??? Tracy Arm is rarely accessable to the Sawyers until June, even then not a given. Glacier Bay is a winner with the Pearl. Look at all the factors, ports, time in ports, route, glacier, price. NCL does not have ship naturalists.
